How a project runs

Fixed price, a first release in 4–8 weeks, and ongoing support after launch.

After a first call we write a scope and send a fixed-price quote. You get a working version early, and we release in short iterations until launch.

After launch we keep maintaining the app, with updates, fixes and new features, or hand it over to your team with the source code and documentation.

FAQ

  • Can my WinForms app run on macOS or Linux?

    Not as it is: WinForms only runs on Windows. Rebuilding the interface in Avalonia lets the app run on Windows, macOS and Linux, and the business logic can often be kept.

  • Do we need to rewrite the whole app?

    Usually not. We review the existing code first, keep what still works and replace the parts that hold the app back.

  • Can you move us off .NET Framework?

    Yes. We upgrade the project and its dependencies to a current .NET release, so the app keeps getting security updates.

  • Do you support the app after launch?

    Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance: updates, fixes and new features.

  • How much does it cost?

    Every project is fixed price. After a first call we scope the work and send a quote, so you know the cost before we start.
